Production
Production and Kiln Drying
The high-quality timber we obtain from our facility in Douala, Cameroon is processed at our modern plant in Yalova. In the computer-controlled conventional and vacuum kilns at Yalova, with a capacity of 1,200 m³ per month, the timber is brought to its ideal moisture content. Once drying is complete our products pass quality control and are held in protected storage areas.
Alongside supplying timber in standard dimensions as required, we also offer cutting and sizing to your project’s specification.
Production at source
Our Douala Facility in Cameroon
Located at the source of exotic timber species, our Douala production facility has operated since 2016 from a strategic position close to the international port.
Built on an area of 7,000 m², the facility has a log-cutting capacity of 80 m³ per day. The purpose of our investment in Cameroon is to reach quality raw material directly and sustainably, so that we can supply our customers with timber to a high standard without interruption.
Heat treatment
Our Thermowood Production
At our facilities Thermowood is produced with a specialised heat-treatment technology using only high heat and steam, with no chemicals of any kind. The process lowers the wood’s capacity to absorb moisture, giving it high resistance to outdoor conditions, decay and insect attack. Led by Thermowood Pine and Thermowood Iroko, we offer long-lasting solutions with high dimensional stability for façade and decking applications.
Infrastructure
Machine park and processing lines
Our machine park holds three profiling machines, one opti-cut and a vertical lamination press. After heat treatment, products are processed on our own lines for planing, profiling, grooving and surface work.
Non-slip surface grooves on decking profiles, interlocking details on façade profiles and wall-panelling sections are produced to the tolerances the project requires.
Quality
Quality control
Moisture measurement, dimensional tolerance and surface inspection are carried out on every batch. Product grading rests on measurable data as well as visual criteria, so no visible difference arises between different batches of the same product.
